. Steve Jobs once said that touchscreen Macs wouldn't make any sense because your arm would quickly become fatigued from holding it up in the air to poke the screen. So when Chinese company TMDTouch revealed its Zorro Macsk (that's not a typo) that claimed to be capable of adding multitouch gestures to an iMac with mere plug and play functionality, my interest was piqued. Rather than add a touchscreen panel on top of the iMac, the Zorro Macsk uses infrared technology to track finger input.

Racer Paul Brown passes away at age 43

The motorsports community lost one of its best this past week. Paul Brown, 43, succumbed to his battle with skin cancer on Saturday, less than eight months after he was initially diagnosed with the disease. Not only a talented driver, Brown was known for his kindness, work ethic, sense of humor and love of the sport. Son of famed racer Kenny Brown, Paul began his motorsports career at the age of 16 competing in autocross events before later moving to the SCCA World Challenge in which he competed for nearly twenty years.

The iPad mini launch event is scheduled for the 23rd of October - at least that's what the reports are claiming (formal invitations have yet to be sent). Specs of the device are still unknown, but speculated, and thanks to the folks at Mac Rumors, they have received a set of photos that claim to be the iPad mini's battery. It's hard to tell if it's the real deal, but we guess we can speculate for now. So what sort of battery life are we looking at for the iPad mini.
