More images of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C leak

With just couple more weeks left for the alleged launch event of the next generation iPhone, you can say the device is just around the corner. That also means, however, that the leaks are now coming in thick and fast to the point where there will be little new left to learn when the device(s) actually get announced. Today we have more images of both the iPhone 5S as well as the iPhone 5C. The iPhone 5S here is seen in the new shade of champagne gold. It also has the glass back panels painted in white, so we now have a proper idea of what the final unit will look like, at least from the rear.

Moto X, HTC One Mini, and Samsung Galaxy Mega now out at AT&T

Moto X, HTC One Mini, and Samsung Galaxy Mega now out at AT&T

Today is a big day for AT&T, at least when it comes to new smartphone launches. No less than three new and exciting devices are joining the carrier's roster today: the Moto X, the HTC One Mini, and the Samsung Galaxy Mega. Each of them has a different unique selling point, as you'd expect, but they're all important devices for their respective makers. The Moto X is the first handset to come out of the ‘new' Motorola, the company now owned by Google. Its focus is less on specs and more on the overall user experience.

Sony Xperia Z1 (Honami) flagship gets teased again

Following yesterday's teased Twitter image of the power button on the upcoming Xperia Z1 "Honami" flagship, the latest Facebook shot from Sony highlights the smartphone's underwater capabilities. The sheer amount of leaks surrounding the Honami officially qualifies as a boatload, so it's only fitting that Sony should add a few press shots to churn up some excitement for its upcoming pre-IFA press event.

Pandora Sleep Timer On Mobile Announced

Pandora Sleep Timer On Mobile Announced

I am pretty sure that when you were too young to remember, it was your mother who sang you lullabies and rocked you to sleep, so that she and dad can have some quality time together after spending most of their time with you during your waking – nay, crying hours. Now that you are all grown up, you still need some music playing in the background before you are capable of grabbing some shuteye, and do take note that this particular method of falling asleep does not work for everyone, since some others out there prefer to count sheep instead.

Bare-breasted woman's motorcycle crash caught on cop dashcam

Bare-breasted woman's motorcycle crash caught on cop dashcam

We've said it before, we'll say it now: it's not that stranger things are happening now, it's just that the interwebz allow us to spread them to the world at the speed of fiber optic light. The latest incident captured on America's version of the Russian dash-cam, which is the policeman's dash-cam, is a woman just outside Milwaukee riding erratically down the highway on a motorcycle. Sure, that's pretty thin.

Opel Insignia OPC Sports Tourer shows its fresh face ahead of Frankfurt debut

Drive down the Autobahn and there's any number of vehicles likely to pass you, and most of them are produced locally. But if you're wondering how that Opel left you in its dust, look closely (and quickly) enough and you might make out the letters OPC on the back. They stand for Opel Performance Center (the German counterpart to Vauxhall's VXR line) and they adorn performance versions of the Corsa, Astra and Insignia.

Apple Reportedly In Talks With Networks Over Content For Its TV Set

Apple has long been rumored to be working on a full fledged TV set. The company hasn't said if it plans on entering the TV market with a product of its own, though many analysts are of the view that Apple may release its TV set next year. The company is reportedly negotiating with networks and production studios over content for the TV. ESPN, HBO and Viacom are named among the companies Apple is talking to. It is unclear right now if any deals will be finalized in the near future.

Zeus 3D Printer By AIO Robotics Has A Twist

Zeus 3D Printer By AIO Robotics Has A Twist

We have seen our fair share of 3D printers in the past, and the most recent one which has something to do with 3D printing would be the swissPen, but this time around, here is something which you might want to consider since it does have its own merits. "Not just another 3D printer" should have been its mantra, especially when you consider how the Zeus from AIO Robotics works. The Zeus is a 3D printer that not only prints out 3D objects when you feed it the correct file, it is also capable of scanning and transmitting objects, now how sweet is that.

HTC Zara is supposed to be a new plastic-made, affordable smartphone that will debut later this year, possibly at about the same time with the 5.9 inch One Max. Until HTC confirms its existence, EVleaks went ahead and posted officially-looking renders of the handset. As rumored not long ago, the Zara is slightly larger than the HTC One Mini, sporting a 4.5 inch display (with 960 x 540 pixels).

LG G Pad confirmed by exec. Flexible displays coming next year, smart watch and bigger phablet too

LG G Pad confirmed by exec. Flexible displays coming next year, smart watch and bigger phablet too

Many times so far this year, LG has been rumored to be working on a new Android tablet. The Korean company has been absent from this space for a couple of years, but looks like it's ready to get back in the game. The tablet will almost certainly be called LG G Pad, and its existence (and availability before the end of the year) has now been confirmed by one of the company's execs. Dimitar Valev (pictured below) is LG's head of mobile communications for Bulgaria, and during an interview with a local paper he acknowledged the new tablet's existence (not the name though).

But that wasn't all Mr. Valev had to say.

Moto X custom engraving won't be available at launch

Some more bad news for the Moto X has come to light ahead of its official release. According to a Motorola spokesperson, custom engraving for the Moto X will not be available at launch. Apparently, the quality of the engraving process is not yet up to Motorola's standards, so the company wants to make sure it's perfect before unleashing the feature onto the masses. This news is really only damning to AT&T users, as those are the only folks getting access to the Moto Maker at launch.

Beats said to be looking to buy remaining shares back from HTC, but will it change anything?

Beats said to be looking to buy remaining shares back from HTC, but will it change anything?

It looks like we're coming up on another “it's not you, it's me” situation for Beats. When HTC originally bought up 50.1% of the company's shares, it wasn't long before the company sold 25% back to Beats (for a reported $150 million). HTC still remained a majority external stakeholder, and continued to market their phones with Beats branding. It looks like HTC might be boxed out altogether if the latest reports from the Wall Street Journal are to be believed.

Maveric Drone To Combat Mosquitoes In Florida

Maveric Drone To Combat Mosquitoes In Florida

I am quite sure that you have seen some of those "First World Problems" memes online, but on a more serious note, there are still areas in the undeveloped part of the world where mosquitoes have proven to be quite the bane, and will still carry diseases such as malaria that continue to kill every single year, regardless of your age or gender. The state of Florida is not exempt from mosquitoes either, considering that this state has plenty of marshy wetlands that are proven mosquito breeding grounds, and they intend to take the fight to them by involving aerial drones this time around.
