Auto Express reports Subaru will stop selling the Impreza, WRX and WRX STI in the UK starting next year. Shin Tanaka is a "Japanese artist, graffiti writer, paper toy creator, designer" with Kennedy Center credentials – his Paper Shaper sneakers are especially popular. Scion has done a DIY collaboration with Tanaka that can get you every one of Scion's five models as a Paper Shaper. There are two ways to get in on the auto origami, the first being to stop by the Scion booth if you happen by one of the coming season's auto shows. Since that's a lot of work and waiting to acquire a perforated sheet of paper, you can also download the Scion Paper Shaper app from iTunes.

Brazilian woman destroys cheating husband's car in public

Brazilian woman destroys cheating husband's car in public

It's a tale as old as time. Boy meet girl. boy cheats on girl. girl goes to town on boy's car with a hammer. Wait, what?

Okay, maybe not the most orthodox of love stories, but according to the poster of this video, it's exactly what happened in Sao Paulo, Brazil last week. The description claims that the fiery redhead was enraged by her husband's apparent infidelity, leading her to take out her frustrations on what looks like a '90s fifth-generation Honda Accord.

She wailed on the defenseless Honda with a hammer, hitting the hood, windshield and completely destroying the rear window as many looked on in a mix of curiosity and amusement.

Next-gen iPad Mini Has High Resolution Display (Rumor)

Now here is a rumor which might just put a smile on the faces of those who have yet to pick up an iPad mini, but intend to do so when it is equipped with a high-resolution display. Yes sir, what else could it be other than whispers of a high resolution iPad mini floating around. It seems that Apple will be taking the inevitable route of upgrading the pixel density of their iPad mini to Retina display specifications in order to stop being the butt of jokes around, and will be part of the tablet's next generation line up.

Galaxy Note Floating Multiwindows Mod

As smartphones start to come with larger and larger displays, moving into phablet territory (the 6.3" monster from Samsung comes into mind), one cannot help but wonder whether the operating system in use should be modified to accommodate the larger visual real estate so that the final user experience would resemble something that is closer to a desktop.

iTunes 11.0.1 Released

Barely two weeks after launching iTunes 11, Apple is now upping the ante by pushing the first software update for its online digital media store. Version 11.0.1 goes straight to the basics by allowing users to eliminate duplicate items in the iTunes library – a feature that was rumored to have been removed. The update also fixes some issues related to purchases made on iCloud, which, according to some customers, didn't appear on their library when iTunes Match was running. Apple is also attempting to solve reported issues with AirPlay, where, in some cases, the button does not appear as expected.

US Immigration will be piloting RIM's Blackberry 10 solution

Back in October, it was reported that the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency would be switching from Blackberry devices to the iPhone, with the agency claiming that RIM was no longer able to meet their mobile technology needs, hence the switch. While that may or may not be true for the current Blackberry platform, perhaps RIM's upcoming Blackberry 10 platform might be able to fulfill ICE's needs.

GM builds prototype handcycles for wounded vets (video)

Chevrolet and students from Michigan Technological University have teamed up to build some prototype hand cycles, designed to allow wounded veterans to compete in racing events. Three-wheel hand cycles have proven useful for amputee or other seriously injured athletes in the past, as the design allows for them to lean forwards while pedaling with their hands. This new cycle, designed by MTU engineering students, has been built to be stronger, more comfortable and more portable than existing hand cycles.

Seven days with eight Porsches in Europe looks how you would expect

We come across a lot of dash-cam videos, and while we may have become desensitized to the highway altercations or raceday crashes, this video left us speechless. Simply titled, "well that was 2012," it is a stunning video, chronicling the journey of a handful of Porsche 911s throughout Europe. The poster of this video explains on his website that he and seven other 911 owners took to an amazing week-long, 2,000-mile journey through seven European countries. The video was shot from the dash of his modified Porsche 993.

Google To Kill Nexus 4 LTE?

Google To Kill Nexus 4 LTE?

How about a little bit of speculation to wind down the work week, and what could be more juicy than to hear that Google has withdrawn a number of Nexus 4 files from its Google Developers archives on the sly, where among them include the smartphone's factory image as well as the handset's associated binaries. There has been no formal or official notification or announcement from Google concerning the change, although rumors have been flying around thick and fast – touting that this is but the first salvo in an attempt to prevent users from accessing the handset's hidden LTE features.

2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class refreshed down to its sheetmetal

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is here, and it's had a lot more work done than just a little plastic surgery. Four years into the current model's lifecycle, the changes begin with the unusual step of a serious sheetmetal rearrangement: gone are the four headlights we've seen on the segment leader for 17 years, and gone are the light-relief pontoons over the rear wheels. In front, the one-piece headlights contain LED signatures that 'break' them into two segments, but the main lighting functions have been consolidated into a single lens. Full LED headlights will be available for the first time.

In the process they also took several crystal clear photos of the Blackberry 10 L-series in all of its glory - front, side, top, and even its textured back which was spotted in a teaser image uploaded by RIM not too long ago. Ford announced today that it has determined the problem and has worked up a fix for the engine fires that have resulted in recalls for 2013 Ford Escape and Fusion models equipped with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine. Ford says the fires are being caused by an issue with the cooling system software that fails to properly manage engine temperatures during "unique overheating conditions," which are allowing the engines to get hot enough to start a fire while running.

With the tension between Apple and Samsung, there has been a lot of rumors suggesting that Apple might be dropping Samsung as a chip manufacturer and will go with TSMC for their chip manufacturing needs. Word has it that supposedly TSMC's production of Apple's chips are expected to kick off late 2013 or early 2014, but now new rumors are saying that the schedule has been moved up and that TSMC could begin production as soon as the second quarter of 2013. TSMC is also rumored to be building chips for Apple using the 28 nanometer process, which seems to go against earlier reports that suggested that Apple might be interested in 20nm chips.

The Environmental Protection Agency has said it "will look at the report and data" from Consumer Reports indicating that the 2013 Ford C-Max and Fusion hybrids don't come close to achieving their fuel economy estimates of 47 miles per gallon. In CR testing, the C-Max Hybrid averaged 37 mpg; the Fusion Hybrid averaged 39. CR reports that the 10-mpg difference recorded with the C-Max represents "the largest discrepancy between our overall-mpg results and the estimates published by the EPA that we've seen among any current models." For reference, the Toyota Prius came up six mpg short of EPA estimates under CR's testing.

Facebook wants GM back

Facebook wants GM back

The story of General Motors and Facebook has been a strange one. First, GM backed out of a $10 million advertising strategy with Facebook at a crucial time, just before the social media platform's IPO in May. Then, the man behind the move, Joel Ewanick, was fired from GM for apparent details surrounding the automaker's sponsorship of Manchester United. That ousting caused a shuffling of faces in GM's marketing division, and it is something that Facebook sees as an opportunity.
