Race of Champions forced to change venue

Over the course of its three decades of history, the Race of Champions has been held in various locations around the world. Following over a decade in the Canary Islands, the annual event was held for three years at the Stade de France, then two years at London's Wembley Stadium before moving to Beijing and on to Düsseldorf, Germany, last year. This year's race was scheduled to take place at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, but a change in the venue's soccer calendar has forced the race to change locations.

AnaPad, A Wooden iPad for Kids

Sadly, the wonderful anaPad is likely to be nixed by Apple's legal dogs. I let other people's babies play with my iPad, usually to shut the whining brats up when they start to cry (again). The soothing tones and gently flashing pulses of SoundPrism usually do the trick, but inevitably these impatient monsters start to stab at the screen, harder and harder until I'm worried about them smashing the glass with their stubby, undeveloped fingers.
So, seeing as kids are pretty easily amused, I'm thinking of taking the anaPad with me whenever I can't get out of visiting my over-breeding friends.

Sony Ericsson unveils the Xperia ray, Xperia active and txt

Sony Ericsson has just unveiled three new additions to its mobile phone portfolio at the Communicasia show in Singapore. We've got the Xperia ray and Xperia active full-touch Android smartphones as well as the QWERTY-packing txt. The Sony Ericsson Xperia ray is an old friend of ours previously known by its code name, Urushi. The 9.4mm slim smartphone weighs in at just 100 g and packs a 3.3" BRAVIA screen of FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels).

Sony Ericsson Xperia ray comes with an 8.1 megapixel autofocus camera with an Exmor R backlit sensor, capable of capturing 720p video.
