Samsung has decided to release the Galaxy S II WiMax in Japan via KDDI au. It has a similar specs with the original Galaxy S II. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the new Samsung Galaxy S II WiMAX comes jam packed with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a 1.4 GHz dual core processor, a built-in 16GB of storage space, a microSD card slot, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with an HD video recording mode. Additional specs include GPS navigation, Near Field Communications (NFC), Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity.
