A few years ago, before Instagram was released, there was a popular iPhone app called Hipstamatic. For those of you who aren't too familiar with the app - it is basically an iPhone photography app with tons of “hipster” filters (cleverly disguised as film, lens and flash options) but without the social sharing aspect of Instagram. Since Instagram's inception, Hipstamatic slowly lost popularity and now it looks like it has finally conceded to the competition. Starting today, Hipstamatic users will now be able to directly upload their Hipstamatic-taken photographs onto Instagram in addition to Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and Tumblr.
