LG Display happily announced that it is set to massively produce the world's first plastic e-paper display, which the company hopes it would “revolutionize the e-book market.”. The six-inch flexible display has a resolution of 1024 x 768 and bendable at up to 40 degrees. It measures at 0.7 millimeters in thickness, one-third thinner than glass displays of similar size, and tips the scales at just 14 grams–that is about half the weight of the glassy counterpart.
