U.K. Judge clears HTC phones of infringing on Apple patents

. U.K. Judge Christopher Floyd ruled on Wednesday that HTC's phones do not infringe on Apple's patents, Bloomberg reports. The patents, which include Apple's well known slide-to-unlock patent, cover various functions involving touchscreens on mobile devices. "Competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours," Apple told Bloomberg in a statement.
