Back in 2011, Panasonic announced their plans to launch smartphones outside of Japan. For those wondering, for the most part Japanese brands like Sharp, Fujitsu and Panasonic have typically sold their smartphones within the Japanese market, although once in a blue moon we do see those devices pop up in international markets. Unfortunately it looks like despite Panasonic's plans to start making a splash globally with their own brand of smartphones, the company has announced that they will be halting the sale of their smartphones in Europe.
