ASUS announced its Fonepad at this year's Mobile World Congress as a 7-inch tablet which can also be used to make phone calls due to its 3G voice and data capabilities, although we'd certainly question the sanity of anyone who would hold a 7-inch tablet up to their ear on a regular basis. Whether or not you actually use its 3G to make phone calls, the Fonepad looks like it's a solid 7-inch tablet on paper as it features an HD screen which supports a resolution of 1280 x 800 with an IPS panel, a 1.2GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with microSD support and a 4270mAh battery.
