Interestingly, Microsoft is said to have shed the RT moniker from the name of its ARM-based Windows tablet and plans to call it Surface 2. The higher end version of Microsoft Windows tablet will be dubbed as Surface Pro 2 Windows tablet. Unofficial reports have claimed that Surface 2 Pro will house a powerful fourth-generation Intel Core i5 processor and a choice of 4GB or 8GB RAM with improved battery life and perhaps retouched aesthetics and also a redesigned kick stand.
On the other hand, Surface 2 tablet features a 10.6" capacitive touch display, redesigned kick stand, support for new Touch and Type cases for Surface tablets.
