It is encouraging to see that the Micro Four Thirds camera format is starting to gain traction among those who do not want all that a full DSLR delivers, and yet want to capture some seriously good looking photos. Panasonic has been at the forefront of Micro Four Thirds technology for some time already, and their latest addition to the family would be the Lumix GM1.
