It's all the rage these days. The latest beta version of the IMO messaging app now includes supports for creating your own verbal orgies, with the updated Android code now allowing unlimited numbers of people to chat with each other in the same window. So if you know more than two people and are comfortable in group scenarios, it's the messaging app for you.
It supports Facebook Chat, Google Talk, Skype and many more of the older messaging clients. Everyone seems to like it very much.
