National Security Agency Develops Secure Intra-Office Handsets

The United States' National Security Agency (NSA) is so concerned about preventing any information from leaking out, this includes the ones passed around through phone calls. For the sake of national security, the agency has launched Project “Fishbowl” that developed 100 handsets that provide encrypted communications for staffers. All phone calls are conducted through an IPsec VPN with a secure, real-time transport protocol that would encrypt the voice at both ends, while the VoIP server is housed inside an NSA facility. This ensures no one would be able to tap the conversation between two NSA officers.
