Just in case the proliferation of ever bigger-screened Android devices wasn't clue enough, there's now a survey that has concluded that people want bigger screens. Well, bigger than the iPhone's, at least. According to Strategy Analytics, almost 90% of existing smartphone owners surveyed chose a prototype smartphone with a display larger than their current device. The 4-to-4.5-inch range seems to constitute the sweet spot for people nowdays. There are some caveats though. First of all, with a screen that large, phones also have to be very thin. And there are slight differences in what women want compared to men.
