This is hardly a surprise, given the fact that the first time we heard about this particular device was its actual unveiling during CES three months ago. Finally, Sprint Wireless announced the pricing and availability of the carrier's first LTE smartphone - the LG Viper 4G LTE. The mid-range Android smartphone will be available for pre-order on April 12 for $99.99 with a two-year commitment, after a $50 mail-in rebate.
The above mentioned amount will get you a dual-core CPU, clocked at 1.2GHz, 4" WVGA screen, a gig of RAM, 5MP, and some eco-friendly cachet. The OS on tap will be Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
