The T-Mobile G2x has finally received an update to its Android operating system – while it will not rock on to the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, at least the handset will be able to arrive at the end of its lifecycle with a degree of dignity, having received the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update at long last. This is an official update, where T-Mobile and LG have teamed up to roll out an Over-The-Air (OTA) update to the T-Mobile G2x labeled as P999-V21y.
