The guitar is one of the most difficult instruments to learn, but add some bits of tech magic and an embedded iPhone and you can learn how to play it with utmost ease. Incident has introduced the gTar, a fully digital guitar that comes with an iPhone dock and a clever app that teaches the users the intricacies of the instrument. Once the iPhone is docked in the guitar's body and the app is loaded, the gTar's neck is lighted with a series of interactive LEDs along the fretboard. For starters, the LEDs light up in sequence with the teaching app during Easy mode, showing the novice player which string to play.
