Word on the street has it that Microsoft will offer Windows 8 upgrade discounts from June 2 onwards, at least according to Mary Jo Foley, a reporter who has hordes of experience when it comes to just about anything and everything under the sun regarding Microsoft. It is no surprise then, that Microsoft has not responded to this claim when contacted in an official capacity, clearly leaving the realm of June 2 where a Windows 8 upgrade discount is concerned up in the air.
