If you bought a Sony Xperia S, Sony's flagship Android smartphone of the moment, and are wondering when it will be updated to the latest version of the operating system, this is for you. Unfortunately though there's still no answer to the ‘why would Sony launch the Xperia S running Gingerbread, when HTC was able to release its One series running ICS without problems?' question. Still, the update is coming, and you won't have a lot of waiting to do from now on. The update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is set to arrive in late May or early June at the latest.
