If you'd rather your kid not spend his/her entire summer staying at home playing video games or hanging out at the mall, how about sending them to filmmaking camp. Yup that's right, it seems that Apple has recently announced that they will be offering free filmmaking summer camps to children who are aged 8-12 at their retail outlets. These kids will be taught how to use Apple's own video editing software such as iMovie and GarageBand to put together their own videos. It is expected to kick off on the 23rd of July and will extend through late August for some locations, and will consist of two 90 minute weekday sessions.
