Acer is probably best known for the computers and tablets, and while the company has in the past dabbled in smartphones, safe to say they aren't exactly selling like hot cakes, but it seems that now Acer is turning their attention towards the Android platform and have officially announced the Acer Liquid Z3. We're not sure why Acer has chosen to launch the Liquid Z3, especially with its basic specs which pales in comparison to higher-end devices like the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, and Sony Xperia Z, but perhaps Acer is looking to capture the low-end market although it's safe to say that there are many competitors in that segment as well.
