Datacentre M&A Valued At More Than USD12.3 Billion Globally In 2011 Survey

London, 9 January 2012 – M&A activity in the datacentre sector (businesses and property) generated more than USD12.3 billion in deal values globally in 2011.  The most active market is the USA followed by the UK and Australia.In a review of finance and investment in the datacentre sector, consulting firm BroadGroup assessed all publicly available data across M&A and fund raising activity.Around 45% of all M&A deals were below US$100m, with a further 25% valued up to US$250m.
