The Google Translate app on the iOS platform was previously restricted just to iPhone and iPod touch owners, as the iPad community were left out in the cold. Good news then (who says that Christmas is the only day in the year where good news can be proclaimed?), as Google has recently updated their official Google Translate iOS app which will sport a native interface for, yes, you've guessed it – the iPad (and obviously, the iPad 2 as well). This updated version of Google Translate will look very close like the iPhone version, albeit catering for the iPad's display.
