Normally, we would think that a web service that goes down is hacked, but it seems that Facebook's latest outage in several countries throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa for a couple of hours today was not due to a hacking incident, but rather, Facebook cited "technical difficulties” instead. Among the affected countries include the UK, Ireland, Pakistan and South Korea, at least that is what we know after BBC tracked some Twitter posts.
