In a move that should surprise no one, Nokia will not be releasing the Nokia 808 PureView in the North American market. This information comes from Nokia's developer website, which lists the availability of the 808 as 'Global', with a footnote than excludes North America. Nokia has mentioned in the past that once their Windows Phone devices hit the North American market, they will no longer launch new Symbian and Series 40 handsets anymore.
