Apart from the Samsung Galaxy S3 being the Korean manufacturer's latest flagship device, it has also been announced that the Galaxy S3 will be the official London 2012 Olympics phone. Thanks to the phone's NFC technology, Samsung and Visa have also partnered up and will be bringing mobile payment services to various Olympic venues thanks to the Visa payWave app. Unfortunately it appears this service will be limited to Olympic athletes and select users who will be given special Olympic editions of the phone with Visa's payWave app preinstalled on it.
