Upcoming redsn0w release will allow you to downgrade your iOS for untethered jailbreaks

Just the other day we reported that iOS users who have updated their iOS devices to version 5.1.1 would be able to jailbreak their devices thanks to the redsn0w jailbreak tool. Granted it's a tethered jailbreak, we're assuming that it's still better than nothing, right. Either way the good news is that if you'd prefer an untethered jailbreak and you don't mind giving up on the 5.1.1 update, the upcoming redsn0w update will allow users to downgrade their A5-powered iOS devices (i.e. iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and the new iPad) to iOS 5.0.1, thus providing them with an untethered jailbreak solution.

Ubergizmo, Upcoming redsn0w release will allow you to downgrade your iOS for untethered jailbreaks
