Stéphane Richard, CEO of France Telecom (which owns the Orange brand) has reportedly talked about Apple's upcoming iPhone earlier today, declaring the following: “if I believe what we've been told, the iPhone 5 will be out on October 15.”. Now, it's not quite clear who exactly told France Telecom this (since none of the French websites that reported on the matter – see here and here – are providing too many details), but it's probably fair to assume it was someone from Apple – since major mobile carriers usually get this type of info directly from handset makers.
