In the competitive world of mobile operating systems, currently iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7, and Symbian are the major players, although you do get fringe participants like bada from Samsung who could have been accompanied by MeeGo and webOS if development for those were not discontinued. At press time, Samsung has around 10 bada-powered handsets, where three of them run on bada 2.0, which are the new Wave 3, Wave M, and Wave Y. Will the rest of the pack be able to catch up. Fret not, as Samsung recently announced on Twitter that bada 2.0 too, will arrive on the older range of Wave handsets.
