As promised in May, LG is launching its Optimus 4X HD smartphone in Europe this month. The handset is available starting today (June 11) in Germany, and it will be introduced shortly is countries like the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, and Italy. LG says we should expect to see the new Optimus in Asia and Latin America "in the weeks and months ahead.". LG didn't unveil the handset's official price, but Amazon Germany is currently asking €504.98 for the white version, and €499 for the black one.

First announced at MWC 2012 in February, the Optimus 4X HD is LG's first quad-core smartphone.
