The Asus Padfone has made its way to the United States in an unlocked state, ready to entice prospective buyers with a knack for something other than the run of the mill smartphone/tablet combo. The curiously talented handset however comes far from being the most sensible offering in the high-end Android realm - its price is simply eye-watering. As you can notice in the screenshot above, an unlocked 16GB version of the Asus Padfone, bundled with the tablet dock will set you back the rather steep $859.50.
