HTC took to their blog this afternoon to remind new (and prospective) HTC One customers know about some hidden functionality within the device. According to HTC because of the Broadcom wireless chips found inside each and every HTC One, the device is able to connect to, not only 802.11a/b/g/n, but also 5G WiFi, a next-generation standard based off 802.11ac. 5G WiFi promises downloads up to 3x's faster, with 6 times more power efficiency than legacy a/b/g/n.
