In somewhat of an unexpected move, rumor has it that that Robert Downey Jr. has signed a $12 million two-year contract which positions the actor at spokesman and global smartphone ambassador for HTC. While a spokesperson for HTC claimed that the company had no new announcement regarding HTC's marketing strategy, she did finish the comment by stating that the HTC One's ”all-metal design has drawn overwhelmingly positive feedback from media and consumers alike.
